Questions

Plain answers.

If something isn’t here, ask Raya inside Eden, or write to us from Settings › Help and feedback.

What is Eden?

Eden is a calm companion for your financial life. It brings your accounts, bills, spending and investments together, and Raya, Eden’s companion, notices what matters and tells you plainly. It also helps you save with friends in Circles, run money with the people you live with in a Household, and keep what matters for your loved ones in Trace.

Who is Raya?

Raya is the companion inside Eden. She reads the accounts you link, explains what is happening, helps you set goals and plans, and answers questions about your money and about Eden. She only reads; she never moves money.

Is Eden a bank or a financial advisor?

No. Eden is not a bank and does not hold your money. Raya interprets and explains; she does not give regulated financial advice, manage your investments, or trade for you. The decisions stay yours.

How do I connect my bank, and is it safe?

You link chequing, savings, cards, loans or investments through Plaid, signing in with your own bank. Eden never sees or stores your bank password. You can unlink an account at any time, and choose whether to keep or erase its history.

Who can see what I keep in Trace?

Only you. Trace is encrypted on your device before it is saved, and Eden cannot open it. The people you choose receive only what you chose for them, when your release rules are met.

Can my friends see my balance in a Circle?

No. A circle shows how much of their part each person has put aside, never an account or a balance. Friends new to Eden can join from your link.

Can I share money with my partner or housemate?

Yes, with a Household. Nothing is shared just by joining; each of you picks which accounts, goals and bills the other can see, and you can take anything back or leave at any time.
