The process
Eden’s hiring is a journey, not a gauntlet. Knowing the path before you apply lets you understand the commitment and prepare for it.
Submit your work, your thinking, and your resonance with Eden’s mission.
A 45-minute mutual exploration. Not a traditional interview — we want to understand each other.
A deeper, craft-focused conversation on real Eden problems, with the founder and CTO present.
A bounded, real Eden problem. You are compensated for your time ($50 CAD).
We give feedback on your challenge and you revise. Thoughtful pushback is welcome.
90 days of real work with the team. $300 CAD/month, full-time.
A formal evaluation at Day 45 and Day 90, with your own self-assessment included.
A formal offer and onboarding into the founding team.
Every application is reviewed regardless of when it is submitted, even after a role has been filled. If we see that you might be a strong fit for a different role, we may reach out about that instead. Timing is part of the process, and “not now” is never a rejection.
